And I will restore to you the years that the locust bath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar and the palmerworm... (Joel2:25).
When the Lord Jesus heard that His friend Lazarus was sick, He said to His disciples, “This sickness is not unto death...” (John 11:4). The Master then remained where he was for another two days. By the time He got to Bethany where Lazarus lived, the Bible says ‘..he found that he had lain in the grave four days already” (John 11:17). Mary and Martha, Lazarus’ sisters were grief-stricken, and Martha spoke out: “...Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died” (John 11:21). They were so pained that Jesus didn’t respond in time to save their brother. To them, the Master was “too late.” After a little dialogue, Jesus said, “... I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live” (John 11:25).
What a powerful statement! He didn’t say, “I have resurrection power”; He said, “I am the resurrection, and the life!” That means as long as He’s on the scene, even that which was dead will come back to life. That’s why I’m telling you today, “It’s not too late!” Nothing is impossible with Him. He’s the God that “... quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were” (Romans 4:1 7). He reverses even the most hopeless cases and makes the dead alive again.
This is one reason you can never be disadvantaged. It doesn’t matter the negative report you got from the doctors; believe in the God who raises the dead! Maybe they told you the job you prayed about has been given to someone else, hence no vacancy for you; refuse to be moved! Believe in the God who specializes in reversing impossible situations. It’s never too late with Him, and nothing is too difficult for Him!
Even when it seems like time isn’t on your side, relax! With one step, He’ll restore the time you lost and transport you to the place of your dreams. He’s never, ever late!
