Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works?
Nay: but by the law of faith (Romans 3:27).
Nay: but by the law of faith (Romans 3:27).
In the same way that gravity is a law in the physical world, faith is a law in the realm of the spirit. A law is constant, and works for anyone and everyone, anywhere, under the right circumstances. For example, gravity, as a law functions all the time. That's the reason you don't suddenly find yourself floating while walking along the road. The law of gravity is what keeps you on the ground. In the same way, the law of faith can be counted on to work at all times. There’re no ‘trial and error’ with laws: laws don’t forgive, they either work for you or work against you. The law of faith will work for you or work against you, depending on how you relate to it. Don't 'try” to use your Faith, for faith always works: if it is faith then it has worked already.
The Bible defines faith as the “evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1). If something is evidence, it means its proof of something that's already in existence. So, if for example, someone who's been sick with cancer declares in faith “I'm healed in the Name of Jesus; the cancerous growth in my body is dead!” Now, if what that fellow has is really faith, it means the growth is actually already dead though he may still feel it or see it with his physical eyes.
When you understand that faith is a law, first, it will help you know if what you thought was faith was really faith. Secondly, it will give you the confidence to know that faith always works! That means you can stake your life on it-since it’s a law that works for everyone that applies it rightly.
