For whatsoever things were written afore time were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope (Romans 15:4).
It doesn’t matter what you face in life, there’s one place you can always draw comfort and strength— the Word of God. The Word of God is your oasis of hope, peace and fulfillment. It’s your haven through the changing seasons of life. It should be your number one recourse always when you face challenges. If ever you feel the pressures of life coming against you, the question to ask yourself is “what does the Word say about this situation?” Then, search the Scriptures to find out what’s the position of God’s Word concerning the case you’re dealing with. Once you discover the Word that deals with that situation, meditate on it and your faith will be energized. Before long, you’ll walk victoriously out of that situation. That’s how to draw comfort from the Scriptures.
If you’re experiencing challenges at work or in any area of your life for example, you ought to read about David and how as a stripling he slew the giant Goliath. If you’re a lady and perhaps you’ve been having difficulties conceiving, you should read about women like Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth, and make your faith’s confessions about how you have received your own child like they did.
Whatever it is you require an answer for, find out how God did it for someone in the Bible. It will greatly encourage your faith and position you rightly for your own miracle.
