Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover in the feast day, many believed in his name, when they saw the miracles which he did (John 2:23).

Catherine Khulman once said “I believe in miracles, or I believe in God.” How true! If you believe in
God, then you definitely ought to believe in miracles, for God is supernatural and His intervention in this earthly realm will surely produce a miracle on this plain. That’s why I get amazed at folks who say miracles aren’t real, or miracles aren’t for today. That’s a lie from the pit of hell! Miracles are real and are still happening today as in Bible days.
The Bible says “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8 GNB). Since that’s true, then it means He’s able to do the same things He did while He was physically present on earth. If He healed the sick, cleansed the lepers, raised the dead, cast out devils, turned water into wine, walked on water, fed a multitude with a little boy’s lunch, then we should expect the same miracles today; and more—since He’s the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Jesus has gone to heaven and He gave us the power of attorney to use His Name (Matthew 28:19). Thus we can perform miracles in His Name. Christianity is more than a religion; it’s supernatural! Refuse to accept that miracles aren’t real, for the Lord Jesus hasn’t changed. When you call His Name in faith over any situation, you can expect to see the power of that Name demonstrated; you can expect to receive a miracle!
